SAN CAETANO ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING

The objective is to create a building that represents the institutions that serve the citizens and that allows the creation of comfortable working areas for its users. The verticality of the building gives a strong and unified character that represents the forces of democracy and us as a society.
The proposal enhances the relationship of the building with its immediate surroundings. As an earlier measure, the demolition of the bus hangar and the fire station building was decided. Subsequently, the rehabilitation of the existing bus station building and the construction of four office modules. We located a nursery for 75 children in the south-southeast of the building, with a pleasant but protected access. The archive and parking are located below the modules with courtyards to illuminate and ventilate them. Above them, an empty space is created with a green area between the old building and the new ones.
